Chunqing Huang
Born in 1974 Heze, China
Lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, Germany
After studying graphics and painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree, she studied at the Städelschule with, among others, Wolfgang Tillmans, Peter Angermann, and Hermann Nitsch, whose master student she was. Her training in calligraphy combined with an exploration of abstract expressionism lends to her unique compositions, moved by energetic vibrant brushstrokes.
